Peer Review Process

Social Journal of Studies in Education implements a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the quality and integrity of every submitted manuscript. All articles undergo an initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and overall academic quality. Before sending the manuscript to reviewers, the Editor conducts a plagiarism check using Turnitin to ensure the originality of the submitted work. Manuscripts that pass this initial evaluation are then forwarded to section editors for further assessment before entering the peer-review stage.

This journal employs a double-blind peer review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers assess the scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, clarity, and the manuscript’s contribution to the discipline. They provide constructive feedback and recommendations, which may include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.

The editorial team carefully considers the reviewers’ comments before making the final decision. Authors are required to respond to all reviewers’ suggestions and submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe. When necessary, revised manuscripts may undergo a second round of review by the same reviewers. The final decision regarding publication rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers’ evaluations and the overall scholarly quality of the manuscript.

This journal upholds objectivity, fairness, and confidentiality throughout the review process. Any detected ethical violations such as plagiarism, duplicate submission, or data fabrication will result in immediate rejection. The journal is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring that every published article meets the expectations of the academic community.
