Vol. 2 No. 01 (2026)Volume 2 Number 1 of the Social Journal of Studies in Education presents a diverse collection of scholarly articles examining strategic and contemporary issues in education, including cultural responsiveness and Maqashid Sharia, deep learning and project-based learning, literacy development, differentiated Islamic Religious Education, secularism and Islamic education, Madrasah Diniyah curriculum challenges, and the role of education in addressing socioeconomic issues. This issue adopts a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates Islamic educational thought, pedagogical innovation, curriculum development, educational philosophy, literacy, and contemporary social challenges. The articles are contributed by scholars from several universities and educational institutions, involving academic collaboration among authors from Indonesia, Egypt, and Cambodia. We extend our sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, and collaborating institutions whose valuable contributions and academic commitment have supported the publication of this issue and enriched the international scholarly dialogue in education.
